Ash Stu

Hear me out before you start to bash me. I love pokemon, I still play pokemon and I'm looking forward to get the new Pokemon Black2/White2 when they are released. And I do hope the new game Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition will be released in Europe. My fave pokemon is Girafarig but I also like Zapdos and Vapreon. I read the pokemon manga and think that is awsome.

So what I don't like is Ash Ketchum. To me he's an annoying little brat and close to Gary Stu.
Why?
Well if you look at it...he can win any fight with little to no training, he can get friends very easily and all pokemon seem to like him after just one episode. Plus he always have the Pikachu who can beat even Ground types using Electric attacks and I think that rodent have been up against legendary pokemon and beaten them. Oh and most often Ash is 'The chosen one' which annoys the hell out of me.
Not saying it's wrong to like Ash, I know many of you out there do (seeing all the poke-shipping and all) I just think the world of pokemon is ready for a new hero. Ash is the sole reason I stopped watching the pokemon anime all together.
