Carrot thief

No really a thief but... The story is as follow:

I didn't like the taste of that carrot, having a cold alters your sense of taste, so I threw the carrot away in the garbage bin thinking it's safe, why would anyone look for naything in there?
Then right before dinner my dog Ceasar came out to the living room and walked into his dog house carrying, a carrot. Confused everyone wondered where the heck he had gotten that from. Then I did remember that I had thrown away one earlier and went to look in my garbage. No carrot there. Ceasar had taken the carrot from there and thought he had found a treasure. Yuck.
