I can't remember much from my childhood. Not really anyway, not how I ended up where I am right now. But my family here looks after me and takes care of me. And they also told me about my first time here. That always makes me giggle when they tell me of how they first thought I was some sort of strange fawn or government experiment or...yeah...whatever I was.

Back then I couldn't speak or anything, hell I could hardly even move and only laid down on the grass like a newly born fawn. My tail on the ground and yeah...all of that. So what would you do if you ever found something like me laying in your woods? Luckily they took me home and didn't call the government about it. Thank god for that is all I can say. I might have been killed or worse if they found out. But now they took me home and let me live in their barn or inside their home.

They taped my first years. When their mare raised me alongside her own foal. She, her name was Lucky Treasure Longshot or Treasure for short, managed to teach me how to stand up and walk around. She was a very patient with me, using her soft nose to encourage me to stand up on wobbly legs and then gently make me walk around. It wasn't easy, as far as I can see from the video as I fell down a lot, but Treasure helped me up again and again. I watch those tapes and laugh loudly at them. I look just like a fawn trying to learn how to walk.

Another of those tapes show when my tail blade grew out. And how I acted when that happened. God I was such a puppy dog. You know how they chew on everything? Well I was like that only with my tail. I thank my parents for giving me a scratch board to use. I think I used up oh so many trees, boards and poles before the blade finally came out. By that time I had decided not to use it and just let it grow. Only thing about that is that is that, apparently, the blade is like a hoof or nails, it keeps on growing and since I didn't want to use mine they had to trim it down every 6 weeks. I still hate that time, before I learned to trim it down myself. Still not a fun time if you ask me.

Last thing I had to learn was to talk. Oh boy was that hard. First of all...I have no mouth! How am I supposed to be able to learn how to speak!? Speaking through mind I found out by pure coincidence when we watched a show about people moving things with their minds. I just tried to and slowly learned how to speak with my mind. It took long time and I had to learn everything by myself. Thankfully my mom could teach me how to say the letters and words inside my mind and form full sentences. It also helped a lot when I learned how to read. That is also the same way I learned how to write. All thanks to my mom.

However...one of my largest feats was when I finally learned how to skip around and be just a happy-go-lucky little fawn. That I do remember as my parents wasn't around at the time. I watched all the newborn foals and how they jumped around like crazy. As it looked so funny I decided to try that out for myself. I remember that day as filled with pain. My legs wasn't where I wanted them to be and so I fell over them a lot till I learned to keep them where they should be. But once that finally happened I could skip around just as good as any foal.

But I still remember the hardest part to learn how to control was my tail. It's not like I have a dog tail or horse tail or anything. If any I would compare the tail to the elephant trunk, it's like an extra arm or leg that you also have to learn how to control. And that took me like 2 years to figure out, mostly thanks to dogs and how they hold their tails. But also to TV and a lot of nature programs about animals that uses their tails to navigate while running.

That's it I think...for now anyway. Oh and for you who don't know, I didn't grow up on, erm, whatever my planet is called where I come from originally. I grew up on Earth so I do think my way to learning things is way more off than those who grew up on...lets call in Andalite planet for now.
A little background to Alexx, my Andalite OC, the grew up on Earth so she have no clue what so ever about her real home.

This is incredible! Should have been a book in the series. I'm adding this to my favorites.
